General Information on Acupuncture Doctors:
In the State of Rhode Island acupuncturists must pass several national examinations to receive their license as practitioners. In addition to individual state requirements, Rhode Island acupuncturists must be accredited by NCCAOM (National Certification Commission in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) which requires passing of standardized testing. The Department of Health in the State of Rhode Island grants the license of Doctor of Acupuncture after completion of required education and testing.

-Certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
-Author of numerous articles on complementary medicine
-Lecturer on acupuncture and complementary medicine throughout Rhode Island including Rhode Island College
-Guest on radio health talk shows such as the Glenn Brooks Show (Massachusetts, 93.3 FM)
-Experience as an associate doctor in a previously vastly busy practice administering an average of 150 treatments per week himself providing him with the experience of treating many numerous disorders
